Fine racing was on display, and largely clean too, earning the congratulations of the officials.

Juniors Will Waterman and Graham Allinson were delighted first time Super 1 winners, 2 and 4-stroke respectively. Team-mates Adam Rodgers and Adam Constable made it a close finish in Extreme, whilst Ayrton Pankiw had a comfortable Intermediate win. Simon Mills held the lead for almost all of the senior 4-stroke race.

Tal-Ko ABkC Formula Jnr. TKM

Heat winners: Daniel Graham, Will Waterman x 2.

A Final: After two false starts, Graham had the early advantage from Jake Packun, Waterman and Jordan Williams. Waterman took the lead on lap 6, Williams passing Packun with Marcus Allen and Jesse Smart hooking on. Graham retook the lead is defence cracked over 'Hilders Hump', Waterman ahead again to brave it out despite a last corner challenge, winning his first S1 by two hundredths of a second.

Results: Waterman, Graham, Williams, Allen, Jesse Smart.

Tal-Ko ABkC Formula TKM Extreme

Heat winners: Paul Janes, Adam Rodgers, Richard Bond, Rossi, Adam Constable.

B Final: James Blyth, Tom Coller, Matthew Parr, Tim Penton.

A Final: Rodgers made the best start from Steven Bartlett, Constable and Scott Malvern. Amazingly they all managed to hang on through the first two corners despite some hefty impacts in the midfield. Bartlett made a move to the lead at Pits corner with Rodgers dropping to 5th, Constable hanging on in 2nd from Malvern. Rodgers recovered back to 3rd then it was Constable who hit the front, Rodgers followed through and the two of them had a great battle. Rodgers regained the lead for a very close finish.

Results: Rodgers, Constable, Bartlett, Malvern, Barnaby Pittingale.

Tal-Ko ABkC Formula TKM Intermediate

Heat winners: Callum Holland, Martyn Lyell, Ayrton Pankiw.

A Final: Holland headed the pack from Pankiw, Joe Morrison and Mark Hobson. Pankiw soon moved up to the front with Matt Bell already up to 6th from grid 13 after a heat exclusion for a chain guard infringement. Morrison fell away eventually finishing 6th. Although pushed initially by Holland, Pankiw looked comfortable through to the flag with Holland holding on behind and Bell making it through to 3rd ahead of Hobson and Lyell.

Results: Pankiw, Holland, Bell, Hobson, Lyell.

Tal-Ko Formula TKM 4-stroke

Heat winners: Carl Willoughby, Paul Granger, Simon Mills.

A Final: Mills heading a four kart lead battle of Chris Lipscomb, Carl Willoughby and James Sibbet. Lipscomb took the lead briefly down into pits corner but Mills took him straight back on the same lap, the order remained the same until the last few laps when Sibbet made it through to 2nd. Down the straight for the last time, Willoughby took a run on Sibbet.

Results: Mills, Willoughby, Sibbet, Lipscomb, Ryan Fleming.

Tal-Ko Formula Junior TKM 4-stroke

Heat winners: Dafydd Iles, Tom Truscott, Joel Saunders.

A Final: An initial three way tussle between Rhys Jenkins, Truscott and Tom Bridge took place for the first few laps but by mid race Graham Allinson was on a charge through from grid 9 up to 4th place and trying to close on the leading trio. Michael Cox was also through to 5th from 15th on the grid after a heat DNF. Allinson passed Bridge to take 3rd just as Truscott and Jenkins tangled around the pits corner allowing Allinson to take full advantage to become the second first time S1 winner of the day.

Results: Allinson, Truscott; Bridge, Jenkins, Cox.

Lydd Loiterings

James Blyth was excluded from the meeting and had six penalty points added to his licence after failing to respond to a black flag with subsequent misdemeanours.

Sam Dimelow was excluded from Heat 3 of the senior 4-stroke, he made ninth in the final.

The next TKM round is at Warden Law on 3rd July.
