a scorcher!. A sun-kissed Fulbeck provided a day of
high drama and great racing as some high fliers found
themselves in the B final
or worse. TV

House Hammond MSA British Kart Champs Timed
qualifying: Conway (42.79), Litchfield (43.24), Jarvis
(43.18) Heat
wins: Conway (2) Jarvis. Repercharge:
Epton, Edgar, Mann, Doran. Michael
Conway topped the timesheets and went on to a commanding
win in the first final. Dean Panrucker chased him home
but was a massive six seconds in arrears, with Oliver
Jarvis, Chris Trott and Fraser Sheader following. Reigning
champion Michael Spencer had a poor qualifying, and
battled to overcome the challenges of Stevie Morris to
end in sixth after Chris Rogers was docked five places.
In the
second final, Conway and Panrucker fell off first time
around at the newly christened Indianapolis. Conway
retired but Panrucker rejoined to eventually finish
eighth. Spencer quickly fought through to the
front, although second placed Fraser Sheader was only
half a second behind and took fastest lap. Jarvis
came third, while Mark Litchfield leapfrogged up from
grid eighteen. Chris Trott and Jason Williams followed.

Formula 100C Heat
Wins: Jenkins, Styrin, Smith, Mills, Harraway, Hill B Final:
Hill, Whitby, Lyon, Halls Mansell
Smith and Simon Harraway went off at the first corner,
leaving Michael Holloway well in front. But James
Mills reeled him in, and took the win. Holloway
then lost second to Andrew Tinsley and nearly third to
Sam Garford. Phil Hill fought his way through to 8th
from the B

Formula TKM Heat
wins: Clucas, Hobbs, Gornall, Quinlan, Clarke, Hookey. B Final:
Coles, Bond, Milner, Moir The A
Final was a corker between Ben Clucas, Ryan Smith,
Daniel Clarke and James Hobbs. Of them only Smith
did not take a turn in the lead, but Clucas came out on
top on the last lap.

Champion ICA Heat
Wins: Inglis, Pead (2), Andrews, Griffiths, Mills B Final:
Ford, Ellis, Wilson, Edgar. David
Griffiths took an easy win in the A, with a big gap back
to Barry Eldridge and the low grid starters Kevin Crook
and Terry Langley. Ed Pead had two heat wins and
made fastest lap, but could only reach 11th.
Iain Inglis climbed up to fourth from 20th.
Eldridge was excluded for a technical offence, but is
appealing so the results remain provisional.
